These Chafer 20″ Multi-Rate Chafer Stream Bars are designed to fit Teejet/Spraying Systems nozzles spaced at 20″ across the boom (IMPORTANT – IF your nozzle spacing is 15″ then you need to purchase 15″ stream bars).
The Chafer 20″ Multi-Rate Stream Bars feature a 6 position sliding orfice bar, which allow sprayers to apply a wide range of different rates (for example at 10 mph they will apply between 8 and 66 US gallons per acre of liquid nitrogen, when using all 6 of the adjustable settings). These Chafer 20″ Stream Bars also come standard with hooks on both ends, so an elastic band can be added to both ends to keep the bars straight (see image attached).
These 20″ Chafer Multi-Rate Stream bars come with a rubber washer and a tip strainer (recommended even if you have in-line strainers). These new bars are now fitted with the Teejet gray polyprop nozzle caps, which have been found to be most tolerant to additives such as Agrotain (or other similar nitrogen stabilizers).
