With over 42 years of manufacturing experience in partnership with the Willibald company based in Germany, LIPA manufactures flail mowers and mulchers at their factory in Italy. All LIPA products are well designed, and manufactured using the latest CAD/CAM technologies, which include laser cutting and robot welders. All LIPA products use high quality materials which stand the test of time, in fact some customers have extensively used LIPA flail mowers and mulchers for over 25 years, only replacing flails/hammers and belts occasionally. LIPA has now manufactured over 25,000 flail mowers and mulchers worldwide, their quality and performance are hard to beat and they are priced less than many competitors.
Our company is Needham Ag Technologies, LLC and we have been in business since 2006. Our company is based in Western Kentucky and we strive to offer the best product knowledge in the industry. We first purchased a Lipa flail mower for our own use in 2018, and became the US distributor in 2019. We offer a range of different LIPA flail mowers and mulchers, in addition to most parts at our warehouse.
The Lipa TLBM-110 flail mower requires a tractor with around 25hp. It has a heavy duty gearbox (with freewheel feature), a working width of 45″ and an overall width of 50″.
This mower features 11 sets of triple flails (see image attached), which are mounted to a 4.5″ diameter rotor tube using heavy hangers, with countersunk hex sockets to allow easier flail changing. The TLBM-110 weighs 540 lb and features a CAT 1 linkage. The TLBM-110 comes complete with a heavy duty PTO shaft and gearbox (see images attached).
This mower is designed to mow & mulch grass, brush and small trees up to around 2″ in diameter. Across the inside of the front of the mower is a set of steel counter-knives to help with mulching.
The TLBM-110 features a rear roller to help control the cut height and keep the flails out of soil and rocks. The roller is adjustable (3 height positions) and also features a scraper to keep the roller clean (for when mowing in wet conditions). The TLBM-110 mower also features heavy duty (replaceable) skids on both ends to help keep the flails out of soil and rocks.
The front of the mower has a set of full-width steel deflectors and the rear of the mower has a full-width heavy rubber flap, these both help control flying debris, which is important when mowing near roads, houses or vehicles.
