With over 40 years of flail mower and mulcher manufacturing experience in partnership with the Willibald company based in Germany, LIPA now manufactures high quality mowers and mulchers in their factory in Italy. LIPA products are well designed and manufactured, using the latest technologies which include laser cutting and robot welders. All LIPA products use high quality materials which stand the test of time, in fact some customers have used the same LIPA mowers for over 20 years, only replacing flail hammers and belts occasionally.
The Lipa TLC-150 flail mower is a medium sized machine which weighs 1020 lb. It has a 60″ cut width, so it’s suitable for 40-50 hp tractors. The TLC-150 features 10 heavy duty triple toothed flails, with 3 drive belts from the drive pulley down to the flail drive pulley.
The TLC-150 is designed to mow and shred grass, brush and small trees up to around 3” in diameter, within fencerows, driveways and yards. These flail mowers feature high quality construction, with safety chains to help control flying debris. The range of TLC mowers also feature heavy duty bearings at both ends of the rotor, in addition to both ends of the heavy duty steel roller at the rear. The steel roller is height adjustable and sets the working height of the mower above the ground, to help it follow the ground contours.
This flail mower comes complete with a standard 3pt hook ups and a PTO shaft with heavy duty shield. The TLC mowers also come complete with both lower and middle tractor hook-up pins.
If it says “out of stock” please contact us to see when more will be available, as we plan to have most of the common models in stock, so they may be shipped and available soon.
Always think safety when operating a flail mower! The TLC flail mowers should ideally be used on tractors with fully enclosed cabs with a rear window, to help protect the operator from flying debris. Keep all spectators at least 150 feet away and always lower the flail mower down onto the ground and shut the engine off before working on, or making adjustments to the flail mower.
