With over 42 years of manufacturing experience in partnership with the Willibald company based in Germany, LIPA manufactures flail mowers and mulchers at their factory in Italy. All LIPA products are well designed, and manufactured using the latest CAD/CAM technologies, which include laser cutting and robot welders. Our company is Needham Ag Technologies, LLC and we have been in business since 2006. Our company is based in Western Kentucky and we strive to offer the best product knowledge in the industry. We first purchased a Lipa flail mower for our own use in 2018, and became the US distributor in 2019. We offer a range of different LIPA flail mowers and mulchers, in addition to most parts at our warehouse.
The TLB-FF 150 is a mulcher designed for a medium sized skid steer loader with ideally around 20-22 GPM of auxiliary flow. With this flow, it will mulch 4-6″ hard woods and at least 6-8″ soft woods (greater diameters are possible if lowered much slower). IMPORTANT – If your auxiliary flow is greater than around 22 gallons, it will need to be regulated down (by either reducing the flow on the skid-steer or reducing engine RPM), as higher than recommended flow can damage the bearings and rotor.
The TLB-FF 150 has a total width of 68″ and a working width of 60″. This mulcher features a 9.6″ heavy duty tube, with 60 x replaceable mulching teeth scrolled around the mulching rotor to minimize vibration. Behind the rotor is a set of fixed teeth to help mulching. It weighs 1200 lb with the skid-steer mount and it’s powered with a heavy duty Parker 40 piston motor and 4 toothed belts. The mulcher features a rubber flap front and rear to help control flying debris and also features an adjustable roller at the rear to set the working height above the ground. The mulcher also features heavy duty skid plates at both ends to help follow the ground.
The front door is hydraulically adjustable, and it takes oil from the rotor circuit via a cab operated switch and a solenoid valve. This solenoid takes 12V power from the 12V lighter plug socket in the cab.
