We are currently out of the new design depth arms with the square hole. It could be May 2026 before we have more. We do still have some of the old version black depth arms (which DO NOT HAVE THE SQUARE HOLE FOR ADJUSTMENT), search for “Old Style Extended Wear Depth Arm” in our store, they are $10.00 each while stocks last ($75.00 each).
The Needham Ag Extended Wear Depth Arm provides a much longer term solution compared to the relatively soft OEM cast arms (made of cast, which tend to wear rapidly in the jaw). This is because the high grade steel arm clamps around the gauge wheel axle much more securely (compared to the John Deere cast arms).
These depth arms are precision machined to fit and last much longer than the John Deere OEM ones!
The Needham Ag Extended Wear Depth Arm can be used on both the RH and LH side of 60 & 90 series openers, in addition to ProSeries openers, to replace John Deere part numbers AN282108 (RH) and AN282109 (LH). A 0.9″ ID washer (supplied) allows the Needham Ag arms to be used on both sides.
The newest version of the Needham Ag Depth Arm features a 1/2″ square socket, which helps speed up depth adjustments with a 1/2″ ratchet or breaker bar.
Works with OEM gauge wheel axle, handle and depth adjust cover or with the Needham Ag gauge wheel axle.
We suggest buying the grade 8 nut and bolt to go with our Depth arm (See nut and bolt listed below)
