If your struggling to close the seed slot, the Needham Ag 2 x 13″ closing wheels together with the Needham Ag Angle-Changer are a good option.
These wheels perform across a wide range of conditions, from minimum till all the way through medium moisture no-till. They are more aggressive than the factory 4″ wide wheels, but not as aggressive as the Needham Poly 20 Point Crumbler Wheels.
The 2 x 13″ wheels feature two heavy duty steel wheel halves and a rubber tire.
We don’t recommend adding the 2 x 13″ wheels to a Case 500/500T without the angle changer, as the factory arm runs too straight and it doesn’t have the necessary gathering action to utilize the wheel.
